Well its the new year and finally, CNET have got their act together and uploaded BamBoozle. Check it out guys in the Games page.

BIG News

In other news, I have decided to open my doors ports to ALL other coders. If you would like to redesign this site anyway you like, upload any file you like (within standard CNET softare policies, i.e. not malicious). Then please get in contact. I do not have time to keep running the place, but I do have the money to keep it "sponsored" for other coders. This goes out to all, young and old, fat and thin, male or female.

EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT ... BamBoozle is out, my version of the classic (well in my opinion its a classic) game Bambuzle. The linkage is still not set 100% due to download.com taking their usual 3 days to check things out. But it should be active before anyone reads this message anyway.

This game is built on the same engine as Moonquake which I know many of you have played, thank you. But the installation is now all different, for starters, there is an installation. Unlike Moonquake which was just an executable that could be played from anywhere without being installed, BamBoozle goes through a setup process to setup shortcuts and installs help files etc. You can still just copy the executable file (BamBoozle.exe) to a thumb drive and carry it with you So you still don't need a whole bunch of files, just a thumb drive. Also included is an update feature which is included with the setup packer I am using, which is great because IF any of you get to level 10, you'll be able to TRY and get past 10 and carry on to the next stages... FOR FREE (Donations gladly accepted) -->

Well people its that time of year ... again, christmas. If there isn't another posting on here before then, well have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hi guys, you may have noticed that the website has changed, totally new "professional" look. What you think of it? The game I mentioned on the 15th September is still in mind but its all to do with spare time and R'n'D. As many people will know, thinking of an original game from scatch can be quite a task.

Although as I said the original game I have been working on slowly is still active, I am also in the progress of porting another game from the old Acorn RiscOS system. Its called Bambuzle so watch this space and Download.com for the game.

I have been contacted about Moonquake, it has been awarded! You can all now rest (if you were worried) because like all my software, its 100% free of spyware, adware and virus.

15th September 2008
Moonquake is now active on CNet and downloads seem to be going pretty well. I have also started on a new game, an original one this time. Watch this space!

9th September 2008
Just a quick update, FireFly link on CNet has been updated, a lot quicker than I thought it would be, so that link is active now. I'm expecting Moonquake to be active on their website by the 12th, watch this space.

7th September 2008
FireFly has officially become freeware, no more $5 dollar purchase, although donations would be lovely. Along with being made freeware, all nag screens and limitations have been removed. I am still waiting on CNet to update all my links but they take a few weeks, so until that time I have added a direct link to the files. If you have problems just clicking on them, try right clicking and then save as...

I have just finished updating Moonquake, 2 player (as far as I can tell) now works and doesn't seem to have any bugs, I've also done some minor graphic work, again nothing major. I that I would skip the version all the way up to version 2.0.0 seems like i've done enough to warrent it. Enjoy your game.

29th August 2008
Moonquake has been released! At the moment there is only 1 player mode enabled, but I am working on fixing that very soon, ready for version 1.0.1.

History

FleecyWare is the creation of a dedicated software developer. I basically started off when I was in my pre teen years using old machines like the Acorn computers (before they were revived) loaded with the RiscOS operating system. This is where I learnt the basics; edit existing games before going on to understand how to create my own. As I got older, and the Acorn died out, Windows became the 'it' thing to use. As I was still pretty young, getting to know this new operating system was going to be a great adventure. Staying with the basics on this new operating system, I taught myself how to build web sites using, html etc. Over the next few years, during high school years, learning ICT was a start at the bigger stuff. learning BASIC and then onto Visual Basic, which is what I still use, although its a much newer version than what I started out on. I currently use Visual Studio Pro 2008. During college is when I came into my own, studying Level 3 Advanced Information Communication Technoloy, often correcting the programming teachers, I naturally passed. These days I'm in a full times job and have a family, but still do freelance programming for fun and as a hobby. Over the years that I have been coding software and games, the rough estimate of completed projects is about 200. With the start of this web site, you will hopefully get to see some of the latest projects I have been working on; and I would love to share them with you. Many people ask me, "Why Fleecyware and why the sheep?". There are a couple of reasons, the first is, we are aiming to be as child friendly as possible. The second reason is answered with a question, why did Microsoft call itself that and why did they call Windows, Windows? Why do Apple call themselves Apple and why did they call Mac, Mac? Random, just like mine?

Enjoy your stay
